Implementation of Kanban Practices with a Medical Device Software Development Lifecycle

Abstract

The objective of this study is to provide a better understanding of the challenges faced by software developers when developing safety-critical medical device software by the use of a plan-driven SDLC and to resolve these shortcomings by the proposition of a mixed method SDLC (KV-model) to the development of software as medical device.
